Weight problems are increasing at a rapid pace with unhealthy lifestyles. So what does one do about it? A few pointers in this regard will help one to overcome such weighty issues to a large extent. Dieting for short periods rarely work, it has to be done regularly on a long-term basis. Stick to meal timings that include a wholesome breakfast, not-so-heavy lunch, and a meager dinner. Add plenty of greens, vegetables and proteins, but limit carbohydrates. Fattening food such as sweets, deep-fried stuff, and animal fat is best avoided. Follow a regular exercise regimen and walk for about 30 minutes everyday to remain healthy and fit, but not overweight.
