Phishing on the net

The number of cyber crimes have propelled to large numbers in the past few pears. Phishing is a simple method that does not involve any hacking technique. A person/group sends an email posing to be a genuine bank or promoter of a product and acquires the credentials and other credit card details of the target victim. Using such details, such fraudsters gain access to the victim’s bank account and illegally withdraw his/her money.
Phishing is carried out successfully on victims who are ignorant about the genuineness of websites and they get easily hoodwinked due to the appearance and feel of professionalism in such fake website and emails.
